Climate change is affecting us all. Today it hit us.

Here at Superb Catalyst, we’ve been affected by the climate change that has given us another year of crazy weather.

Our volunteer home is where people from all around the world come to help us at our Academy, teaching children a global perspective on life and knowledge.

We’ve seen the world being hit with crazy weather patterns, with extremes being seen all over. Unfortunately, this year, it’s hit us too.

Heavy rains have washed away the access path to our volunteer home, meaning we’ve had to evacuate the building.

What we’re asking for is for you to help us with only $10. If we can raise just $600, we can get more machinery in to help us fix and secure the ground as well as the track for the community. This will then allow us to get more volunteers in to further help repair the damage caused by the monsoon.

Ajay Rimal, the Director of the Superb Catalyst NPO has made the following plea;

 My name is Ajay and I am the director of the Superb Catalyst Academy. Our Non-Profit institution provides education disabled and disadvantaged children in Khanikhola – Nepal.

Due to heavy rainfalls, our stairway which connects the school and our volunteer’s residency, was badly damaged. This stairway is vital for the functioning of our Non-Profit organisation. We need to provide our current and future volunteers with a safe accommodation to keep our school running. Furthermore, several other families in this hilly region depend on this access point to reach their homes and fields. The funds would be utilized to repair the stairs to our volunteer’s home and to fix the damaged road which was also affected by the landslide.

The school has currently not enough funds to pay for all the repairs needed and therefore highly appreciates your help. If you need any further information to our Non-Profit organization, accommodation of our volunteers or the project in general, please contact me.

We have set up a fundraising site with IndieGoGo to help us organise it. Please see our post at

If you can help us in any way, please contact us or email us at or
